Sorry, I don't buy that. So you're saying that, if I don't like to go to places where people can smoke I can simply don't go to such places? In sum, We don't need to do anything about regulating smoke-free areas?

No. This is not what I am saying. The smoking issue that you bring up is a property rights issue. The status arguments are about consumer choices.

Lemme just clarify it better. I know no one will answer because it sounds stupid. I am a stupid person who asks stupid questions, but, believe me, they are legitimate questions.

The argument is basically: "Hold on!!!! You can also choose who your neighbours and friends will be!!!!" However:

1. Can we?

2. What's the difference between this and "Hold on!!!! You can also choose to go to a smoke-free restaurant!!!!"
